Hello out there! Hope everyone had a great weekend & Monday, my last few days were filled with the usual.. a couple workouts💦, busy with the kids🤸🏻♂️, enjoyed some sunshine ☀️ , sat at my computer 💻, and made my to-do list for the week 🤓
Ok, lets get into it – the workouts. How is that all going?? Are they going?! For a lot of people, working out can become a bit of a struggle over the peak summer months. I know this! I’ve trained more people then I can count who find
summer a challenging time… there’s more vacationing, extra social events, kids off school, extra visits from family & friends, it’s patio season, ohhhh patio season🍹🍾🍻🍸💃🏽 (……actually, patio season is something I dream of but basically never get too….I wish…maybe one day) Anywaaays, the point is, there are So. I go in smoothie phases, sometimes I will have a liquid lunch every single day for a few weeks – I get obsessed. And then one day my mood changes and I won’t have another smoothie for weeks, or even a couple of months.
When I’m on a smoothie kick I almost always make some version of a green smoothie. I play around with the ingredients, but I almost always end up throwing in the equivalent of a medium size salad into the blender with all the other ingredients 🙂 I know it doesn’t exactly sound delicious, but with all the other tasty ingredients in there, it works. Have you tried the outdoor stair workout yet?! If you haven’t, get after it because it’s a good workout. It feels refreshing to sometimes step away from the treadmill, step mill, elliptical trainer…… It easy to fall into the same routine, so switching up the style of training or location can add excitement and motivation back into your workouts. One of the incredible things about the warmer weather is that you can get outside instead of suffering through a cardio machine workout.
