Hey there! Things have been busy – but so great.  I just got back from a few days away with my little guys and we had THE BEST time!

We hopped on the ferry, which, for my 4 & 6 year old was a big adventure on its own. We cruised on over to Victoria where we spent time with friends I used to work with at the College. Ahhh, I love reunions like that so much. Though times have changed since there are now 7 kids under the age of 7, so this adds a new kind of crazy. BBQ Grainy Mustard Chicken Salad

I am BBQing everything, well almost everything. I love summer so much just for this very reason – BBQ.  I grill a lot of things, burgers, skewers, chicken, veggies, you name it I’ll do it.

The other day I had some leftover grilled veggies in the fridge that I needed to use up. I’m all for leftovers but sometimes I don’t like eating the exact same thing I had the day before – too boring. Lazy Burrito Bowls

Sometimes I’m lazy.  So lazy that just the thought of what to make for dinner leaves me feeling exhausted.🙈 Please tell me I’m not the only one who feels like this sometimes! 😬 A few days ago I was in that state, but since I have 3 other people to feed (who are ALWAYS looking for food), I had to pull it together.

Chicken & Cauliflower Cashew Curry

Well hi, the weekend is near! I feel like the week hasn’t flown by as quickly as is usually does. I’ve been a little under the weather, and one of my little guys had a nasty flu, so that might have something to do with the snails pace this week.

This week I really scaled back my workouts. I tried to listen to my body and not over exert myself (which feels like torture!😫) soooo ya, very lacklustre. But it needed to be that way… I’m hoping by this weekend I can get after a few good workouts 🙂 Read more
