Today is an exciting day! I’m officially launching my fitness and healthy lifestyle blog 🙂 This is something I’ve been working on for a while now, and thinking about for a whole lot longer. I’m excited to tell you about my journey, talk about what keeps me motivated, and share my ‘fit tips’ with you 😉
Why fitness and a healthy lifestyle? For me it makes life better. It feels good to be stronger, to have more energy and stamina, to be in control of how I shape my body, and to clear my mind and just be… That is a powerful thing. It’s hard to put into words all the things fitness has done for me. It’s been a constant part of me, and one of the few things in life I’ve learned that I can control. I love that it has spilled over into other parts of my life and I can share that with the people in my life, my kids and anyone who might be interested.
Finding what drives you is different for all of us but it’s important to be clear on what that is because that’s what will give you direction on your journey to staying motivated and committed. If you can do one thing for yourself, I think it should be taking care of your body and treating it well, because it’s the only one you’ve got.
